realistic crew was founded by chabz and krizo in 2001. originally they were separated by the rolling plains of hungary, and both began their musical careers in alternative rock bands, before making the transition to electronica at about the same time. joined by some twisted stylistics, it was perhaps unavoidable that they would finally meet to work together. the vj crew monkey presso joined the team. also they have since turned our hands to writing film scores together and recently recorded the entire soundtrack for the feature film black brush/fekete kefe, also holding a bi-weekly radio show on the popular electro-station tilos radio. their first album (which was released both in hungary and in the uk) was a double e.p. each of them recorded independently. laced with eastern european folk chabzs growgrow is an experiment in the traditional meeting the new wave, while krizos offering is a slick example of urban-gone-abstract. swollen to obesity with deep melodic grooves and mystical sceneries test lies and growgrow are a testament to the multi-faceted genre of hip-hop.
